Sarah Westwood

Sarah joined the University of Suffolk as Development Director in September 2024, bringing with her more that 20 years experience in fundraising and alumni relations, most recently at Robinson College, Cambridge, where she successfully built the Development team and accelerated the College's development programme. Successful fundraising campaigns included a new heritage building, a student wellbeing programme and a broad range of scholarships and bursaries.

Sarah is responsible for managing the University of Suffolk's relationships with its alumni and supporters and raising funds for priority projects. She is delighted to be joining the team and supporting the University's success as it steps forward confidently into its next decade. Along the way Sarah is also relishing swapping landlocked Cambridge for Ipswich's sea breezes.
