His latest short film "Peregrine," developed and funded by the BFI, continues to demonstrate his storytelling prowess and has been acquired by BBC3 for their 'Animalistic' strand, scheduled for late 2025. Most recently, Aasaf directed a segment "Crossing the Earth" for Film Suffolk's anthology series "Once Upon a Time in Suffolk," where he actively engaged with University of Suffolk film students, sharing his expertise with the next generation of filmmakers.
