Here's a step-by-step guide to our undergraduate admissions process

Applications for full-time undergraduate courses should be submitted through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You can apply for up to five courses, these can be five courses from a single university or across different institutions. However, we would encourage all applicants to research course content carefully before making their final choices.

University of Suffolk Institution Code: S82

Please ensure that the Institution Code above is entered clearly on your application form, together with the code for the course you wish to apply for, which can be found on the course's webpage. Use our course search to find your Course Code.

You should aim to submit your application by the UCAS equal consideration deadline in January each year; however, applications received after this date will still be considered subject to the availability of spaces on your chosen course.

An up-to-date list of current vacancies is available on the UCAS website.

The UCAS application fee for 2025 is currently £28.50 for up to five choices.

Some of our courses have different admission and selection criteria, such as interviews or portfolio reviews. Visit the entry requirements section on the relevant course page to learn more about any additional requirements.

Further guidance about how to apply and write your personal statement can be found on the UCAS website.

Once you have met all conditions of your offer you will then be required to pay your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) deposit payment to secure your place.

You must pay a minimum £5,000 CAS deposit if applying for the January 2025 intake.

The CAS deposit is a tuition fee payment and will be deducted from your outstanding balance once you have enrolled on your course.

Please do not attempt to pay your CAS deposit before we have sent payment instructions to you.

A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is a unique number that confirms you have been accepted on a course in the UK. You will need a CAS to submit your Student visa application
